Buy signals

A monitor's buy signals are exactly the buy conditions defined on its underlying strategy. When the conditions hold for a stock right now, the stock shows up as a buy signal in the monitor.

How they are evaluated

Each refresh cycle, the monitor walks its target universe and tests the strategy's buy condition groups against the latest data. Matching stocks appear in the dashboard and in the monitor detail view.

Using buy signals well

  • Pair a buy signal monitor with a small, curated universe to keep noise down.
  • Cross-check matches against the same strategy's backtest behaviour before trading.
  • Resist treating every new match as urgent — the strategy is not optimised for speed.
