FactorSage Terms of Service

These terms govern access to FactorSage as a valuation research, screening, backtesting, and monitoring product. Replace the placeholder support contact before launch.

1. Research Use Only

FactorSage is provided as a research and education tool for exploring valuation-driven workflows, historical backtests, and market monitoring.

FactorSage does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.

2. No Investment Guarantee

Any analytics, intrinsic value estimates, signals, rankings, alerts, or historical simulations are informational only.

FactorSage makes no promise of profitability, future returns, performance, or suitability for any investment decision.

You remain solely responsible for evaluating any security, trade, portfolio action, or investment strategy.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

You must provide accurate information, keep your account details current, and notify support if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing

Paid subscriptions, plan changes, self-service billing management, and one-time credit purchases are handled through Stripe.

FactorSage does not store full payment card details. Access, entitlements, and credits may update only after Stripe checkout completion and verified webhook processing.

Credits may be consumed by product actions such as backtest runs and other execution-heavy workflows, as described in the product UI.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload infrastructure beyond permitted use, reverse engineer restricted features, or interfere with other users.

You may not use FactorSage in violation of law, regulation, exchange rules, or third-party rights.

6. Termination and Suspension

FactorSage may suspend or terminate access for abuse, fraud, payment failures, legal risk, security incidents, or material violations of these terms.

You may stop using the service at any time, subject to any billing commitments already incurred.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FactorSage is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

FactorSage and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service or reliance on its outputs.
